DeeAnn’s Office

Take off your jacket before stopping by DeeAnn’s office—the space heater is on!

The Park

With a beautiful, tranquil park across the street, we’re always able to recharge our creative spirits when we need to. Or just eat lunch together on a sunny day.

The Building

Every day for 10 years, DeeAnn would walk by the glass-enclosed lobby of 639 Front Street and think, “Wow, when I start my agency that’ll make a great office.”  And she was right! All it needed was the right people, a reasonable lease, an African Grey parrot and a dog.

Reception

Welcome to the Hive. The dog may bark and the parrot definitely bites but the rest of us are pretty friendly.

The Lobby

It’s a shame we never get to sit in our lobby. But this space is just for you, our guests.

The Conference Room

What can we say—it’s a conference room. When we need a room for conferencing, this is where we do it. But be warned, one special seat has a weird echo.

Account Services

This is where the magic happens. Briefs are written, clients are managed, work is reviewed, deadlines are met, margaritas are made*.

*Only on Friday afternoons, of course.

Jerry’s Office

No need to climb any mountains, when we need some advertising wisdom we stop by Jerry Gibbons’ office. As our resident wise man, he always has insightful advice, or a least a raucous story from the good-old days of advertising.

The Bird

This is Nietzsche. He sort of has the run of the office. Mostly he’s at home in DeeAnn’s space, although he spends a considerable amount of time at his vacation condo perch and on the ground walking to his favorite employee’s desk. You might hear him say, “Get me a beer,” promptly followed by, “You’re fired!”

The Living Room

This is where most of us work. We like to think of it as our giant, comfy living room. So stop by and bring a beer (for the bird).

The Library

In our library, you’ll find hundreds of art books that DeeAnn has collected over the years. You can tell they’re her books because of the beak-shaped bites in the spines (see “The Bird”.)

The Loo

Don’t forget to take a key or you’ll have to come back through the front door. Embarrassing!

Anne's Office

This is Anne’s office. We took all the sticky notes down from the wall so that it would appear as buttoned-up as Anne. But rest assured, if you’re a Hive client, you will have a bunch of giant sticky notes with your name on them.
