Alaska Wildland Adventures

Alaska Wildland Adventures (AWA) specializes in premium, small-group, guided Alaskan tours. In 2003 they found themselves losing clients to cruise lines whose slick materials advertised trips to the same locations as AWA, but at much lower costs. AWA needed to communicate its differences—premium, personalized, principled, and authentic. And they needed to find a visual voice that could compete with the elegant materials produced by the cruise lines. We redesigned all of AWA’s materials: logo, website, brochures, and ads. In each medium, the messaging centered on a set of beliefs that demonstrated AWA’s passion, values, and commitment to delivering the very best of Alaska to one client at a time. As our very first (and now smallest) client, AWA holds a special place in our hearts.
